The work
Square One has installed decorative pavement across British Columbia since 2000. Their site had to work for landscape architects, engineers, municipal specifiers, developers and contractors — people who need to see the project, the system and the place on record before they pick up the phone.
We built it around the work: 31 project pages, each with the application, the region and the system, in front of a slimmer set of service, application and product pages. Content is code-driven with an MDX blog — launched on code, with a CMS to follow once the writing rhythm is known. Live since September 2026, replacing a WordPress site.

Light, one typeface, one accent, one dark band per page. Built to put the photography first and to read the same on a specifier's desktop and a contractor's phone.
02
Content
Projects filterable by application, region and system; services, applications and products written for the people who specify them; 50 guides and project stories on what holds up on BC pavement.
03
Build
Next.js and React with Tailwind, MDX for the blog, quote-request and contact forms, deployed on Vercel. Live since September 2026.
